Quick quote

Here is a quote that a friend posted on his churches' website. It falls in line with Isa. 55 and should be a daily reminder to all of us trust in the Lord through His word and prayer - for His glory!
Dr. A. C. Dixon of Spurgeon's Tabernacle once wrote, "When we rely on organization, we get what organization can do, when we rely on education, we get what education can do, when we rely on eloquence, we get what eloquence can do, and so on. I am not disposed to undervalue any of these things in their I proper place...
BUT WHEN WE RELY UPON PRAYER, WE GET WHAT GOD CAN DO!"

Alan Neveu preached a message on prayer yesterday from Acts 1 - much along those lines. The weakness of the church is do to our lack of real prayer... at least that is my take.
